Did you know that Bluefield, WV has been giving out free lemonade to the whole town if the temperature reaches over 90 degrees since 1939. Technically, the first time it reached above 90 after the tradition was introduced was in 1941. Bluefield was given the motto of "Nature's Air Conditioned City" and sets 2,611 feet above sea level, and is perfectly positioned among the mountain ranges to stay cool all year.
